Just guessing but maybe because it is about a "newer car". Not "traditional" enough with FI and Turbo. They like things before 1965. If YOU had started it as build thread it probably would not have been stopped. Like I said just guessing. Ask Ryan, he's the one that makes the rules...

Ummm, Yeah I know that. I was referring to the thread on the H.A.M.B. , not here. Seppo, Disregard what I wrote before. For whatever reason it appears that the thread was closed because of a low rating. One Star??? Check at the top of the page.

I read through the thread and also don’t understand why it was closed. While there was some negativity present, it wasn’t near as bad as I’ve seen in other threads. I don’t believe being a one star topic is the problem as the HAMB is loaded with one star topics.

Maybe it's because the Megasquirt forum is full of turboed Hitech riserocket fourbargers and other non traditional stuff, so maybe H.A.M.B. moderator dont want them to find their forum and ruin it. Seriously MS forums are the most tigh assed forums what I've seen, cause there are no such thing as off topic. In their finnish version, you cannot say even Christmas greetings. If your topic dont be locked, then nobody is not answering that.

Jep, I have seen topics closed due bad language and really off topics and political comments etc, but that was closed before it even got on fly. Under a week or so... But, I still like to visit H.A.M.B. almost every day. There is loads of good topics to watch.

There are a lot of fun threads on the H.A.M.B. One of my favorites is Vintage shots from days gone by Not necessarily about cars. Also Projects Sitting and Rotting.............picture threadBetter set some time aside because both are quite long and grow every day. Vintage shots... has over 54,000 posts
