The real problem here is that the
linkage to the '56 carb is on the right side and the '57 manifold and later carb have the
linkage on the left. In addition the '57 manifold does not have the mounts for the '56
linkage that if memory serves runs along the back of the manifold. Probably your best bet is to get a later model bell crank assy with kickdown rod and bolt it to your '57 manifold. It will adapt easily to the carb. Then make a link to the '56 accelerator
linkage in the car. I think you could use just about any late model bell crank, they were not special for a 4 bbl.
