Here is the testing Ted did on different exhausts. the 57 manifolds are not that bad. The sanderson t-bird headers are short and might fit your 57. http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/Topic55379.aspx

The right side header on a T-Bird is the same as a passenger car, the left side is made to clear the steering box on a T-Bird, I see no reason it wouldn't work on a passenger car.
