Short answer NO, however about two years ago some guy in the northwest was in the process of sleeving a block for 4" pistons. Requires installing wet sleeves. Have not seen him back on the forum so I assume he gave up on it or ran into problems. I have heard stories of 4" bores before, but you would have to have larger bore headgaskets or use copper o rings. The guys that know these engines , recomend longer stroke and limit bore to 3.860. Check out Mummerts site, he has a C I chart for different bore/stroke combo's.

i did actually. his chart shows a bore of 3.90. thats y i was asking. if you could, that would open up all kinds of ford pistons one could use.

In their heyday, circle trackers were sleeving the Y to accommodate the 4.00” bore so that part is doable. As Glen mentioned, the run of the mill Y will not a safely bore out to 4.00” and still have enough cylinder wall remaining to not have problems. I have seen 312’s that were bored out to 3.925” (+.125” over) but sonic testing of these show them to be marginally on the thin side. I recently did sonic test a 292 block that would have made a 4.000” bore with cylinder walls that would be thinner than I prefer but probably doable but these blocks are far and few between. My own perference is to maintain at least 0.100” cylinder wall thickness with any kind of performance use in mind. Using block fill can allow the cylinder wall thicknesses to be minimized but this also reduces the cooling surface area of the cylinder and subsequently brings other problems to the forefront depending upon the intended use. I do have composition head gaskets for the 4.030” bore on a Y so that's not a problem.

You'd have to ask John for the exact specs. They're an aftermarket, forged H beam rod. Check them out at http://www.eaglerod.com/
