I have a question on changing over rocker arm assemblys from small ratio to 1:54's. The motor that I have has "G" heads on it and was wondering if I would have to change out the pushrods for a different length also. I don't know what I first of all for length of the current ones. Any comments would be appreciated.

You should be able to use the same pushrods with the high ratio rockers.

Thanks Charlie,

I'll give it a try and see if I notice any difference in the way the truck performs with the new ones. Its got a pretty tame cam in it so I don't expect much.

Michael:     Something you may want to check are the oil feed holes in the

rockers. I got some that had these holes plugged with tiny set screws.

It drove me nuts when several of the push rod were turning blue and

the "lash" kept opening up. Some were not plugged!!! I never

found out why...              Just a thought

Bill,

thanks for the tip, I have already checked that out. I got the rockerrs a week or so ago from a guy in Las Vegas here, and I think got quite a deal on them. John Mummert rebuilt them and they've never been run, so their perfect. The parts also included ARP bolts that came with it. I found them on craigslist here locally. And also made a good friend out of the deal besides!
