Some of you that have been following my posts as of late know that I am locating parts for my dad's 55 F350 build. He bought it with no motor, just the transmission on back. I found a '61 F6 Dump Truck for sale - running, and good at that it seems, and crawled under it today - it has the C1TE block, at $500, to me it's a steal. Can we use the same transmission from the '61 in the 55? How about the rest of the running gear? I do know that the F350 has a 2 speed rear axle, the F6 does not. My dad also wanted to know about the wheels, can he use those too?
