ECG-T Heads

I recently picked up a pallet load worth of y-block parts, including a short block and a bare block fresh from the machine shop), two pairs of heads (one pair ECZ-C has been cleaned, magnafluxed and all that) and a bunch of other useful parts like oil pans, timing covers, pistons, cams, valvetrain related stuff, etc. etc.



The other pair of heads have ECG-T cast into them. I looked on Mummert's ID chart and found nothing about ECG-T heads...



Anyone know anything about these?

What size valves, head and stem? Pictures might help.

That's not a head I've ever seen. ECG-(anything)  should be 1955 but -T is a new one. The date code should be on the side between the exhaust ports. That might help narrow it down.

Lee Reese of Omaha is the true expert on 1955 casting numbers but I don't know if he is on this forum.

I did a search on here before starting this thread and only two posts came up that even mentioned "ECG-T" heads. I think it was something about marine applications?



Anyways, I will get a closeup picture when I have my camera. I am positive its "ECG-T" though. I will try to get the date code too.

Ford Cross Reference List gives for casting number ECG 6090T following part number, B6A-6049-M. That part number was not in car or truck part books. I will look it from my industrial engine parts book when I once again found that very easy to find and safe place where I put it.
