Hi!  I have been looking into building a y-block for my 56 F100.  I have seen the stoking kit mummert offers.  Have a C2AE (292) block and 292 crank.  Does anyone have there own combo's.  Looking for any info out there.  Pistons, rods etc.

Thanks

Here are some past threads on stroker combinations.  Using the search function will bring up others.

Scott;

It's good that you have the C2AE block to start with. In my humble opinion, unless you are going for really big inches and BIG horsepower, I think the most economical way to stroke the Y block is with the 312 crank turned down at the mains to fit the 292 block and 292 (C2AE if you can find them) rods. You will also have to machine about .062" off the piston tops (if you are using flat top pistons).
