Scott;It's good that you have the C2AE block to start with. In my humble opinion, unless you are going for really big inches and BIG horsepower, I think the most economical way to stroke the Y block is with the 312 crank turned down at the mains to fit the 292 block and 292 (C2AE if you can find them) rods. You will also have to machine about .062" off the piston tops (if you are using flat top pistons).
