Hi Bjorn,I was in kind of the same situation you are. I have a 1955 Mercury Montclair and I pulled the original 292 and built a 1957 312 for my car. I've seen this engine web site before and thought about purchasing one of their engines before finding my 312. The price they advertise is a good one compared to what it cost me to build my engine. I replaced all the same parts in my engine that they list replaced in their engine. My overhaul kit cost me $1200 and machine work another $800 and assembled it myself. But I can't speak for the quality for their workmanship. It would be nice if you could talk to some that have purchased their engines. Also, their warranty is a bit misleading, 7 seven years/ 70,000 miles. If you read the fine print it basically has a 24 month warranty which is still about an industry standard. One other thing, how much would the shipping cost be? Good luck!
