distributor and oil pan

Hello all folks, and thanks again for all answer in my first topic about the engine.

I also need a new distributor, like msd or mallroy, or any other good choice

So my question is which one is a good choice, and where can i buy it??

i also need a oil pan, but can´t find anyone for sale on the internet, where can i buy it???

I've seen both items on Ebay. The distributors are not cheap though.

We have a parts source here in the US for rebuilt truck distributors. Autozone or NAPA both carry them for fairly reasonable prices. Under $70 US last time I  looked.

Before you go spending money on a distributor  what are you building?A stock motor or hi-po or?As far as an oil pan I am sure someone here would have a good used one to sell.Try posting a "wanted" in classified.

I have oil pans for sale,both truck and car,also if you need a MSD dist. i could get you one at Jegs and ship everthing together.I think the MSD is around $400.00 at Jegs   Carl

ok so the msd will be the best chioce of  msd vs. mallory?

I've used them both but the Mallory electronic does not have a vacume advance. I think the MSD would be better for street use. Chuck
