P58: Use it for what? And do you know what it came out of? The numbers don't appear to apply to Ford/Mercury Y-Blocks.

Am curious why the year of distributor? if you are prepared to use msd anyhow. Or are you trying to work out what engine it may fit?Smile

Its simple and cheap to use a windsor dizzy. You would just have to lengthen the shaft and fit the Y-block gear. Ive done it and didnt even have to change or adjust the points.

All i did was cut the bottom of a worn out y-block dizzy and  after removing the windsor drive gear welded the bottom of the y-block dizzy shaft onto the the windsor shaft, making sure it is dead straight and the same lengty as the stock y-block dizzy from the sholder where where it sits on the block to the drive gear.
