Just for fun I studied the last results. I noted that the only engines in contention for the final 6 positions, all had roll in torque readings, well above their displacements at 2500 RPM. Some other engines had higher final H.P. & torque results, but if their low speed torque was down below their displacement, they were out of contention... I wonder if Ted or other race engine builders here, feel a Y-block could be competitive in that situation?..

       I'm not a race car engine builder, but I play one on TV. and the answer was yes under that set of rules. But then you're back to the mushroom lifter arguement.
