I'll be there, with or without my `57. If without, hopefully will at least have some photos and a progress report on the twice hairdried 292...

Rob, With his reaction times I just figure he needs a couple second advantage to even things up. Should be fun to watch him chase you!

Don't worry guys, Jim calls Lon and I brothers and you would think it is true the way we insult eachother! It is all harmless though I just play into Lon's insecurities and short comings! I should be nice though he is getting rather long in the tooth and not sure how much bashing he can take anymore. Oh and Frank, you're thinking of letting Lon drive your car............hmmmm, is your insurance payed up? Oh well he shouldn't be too hard on the clutch or tires as by the time he wakes up on the line, I am usually at the finish! Rob

The Pomona show is always great, not much in parts any more, account they have it once a month, but the car deals can be great. Be there very early, it's all done early. I am very interested how the economy will bring out the jems !!

Is there an international area, over by, say, the swap meet? that way when they hurl insults at each other we don't get hit? Rob, I was planning to let Lon drive the red car this year, OK? .

Rob, Lon: Any chance you guys could pit next to each other? That way all the rest of us will not become innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire when the fighting starts!!! Anyway, I'm already looking forward to seeing you guys again, as well as all the other Y guys. John in Selma, IN

Well Lon, The Canadian contingent is planning on comming. How many yet, I do not know. FYI I called down to the Super 8 in Heath and got your rooms moved out to the back shed behind the hotel. I told them about your lack of hygene and they were scared you might stink up the hotel! Just kidding buddy, looking forward to seeing all of the "family" and doing some racing. Let's hope "Old Vicky" is up to snuff this year as good old Bob has put some serious coin in the old Merc. He told me that he figured if he made the Merc fast enough, it would compensate for Lon sleeping on the line! Could be interesting, we'll just have to wait and see! Who knows the Aussies might actually have a chance of winning the International title this year? Nahh, only if Lynne was driving, THEN I would be scared! Rob

Moz, The US has always had a fascination with Aussies, but what I was refering to is thieir desire to have us eliminate the military and "Negotiate" with everybody. If that happened you and the Chi-Com's could walk in and take over the joint. And the weather's cold, it's nearing the end of Winter though, we are all looking forward to spring. Enough Global warming.
