The carburetor on the Y-block (292 c.i.?) in my 1957 Ford Tudor Ranch Wagon is a 4 barrel without a tag, but I found these numbers stamped on the carb: COAE-K and M 1.12. I researched this on the internet and these numbers appear to indicate an Autolite 4100 carb with 1.12 venturi and 600 cfm. Can anyone let me know if (1) my info is accurate, and (2) is this the correct carburetor for my car. Also, it would be a huge help to me if someone could post a couple pictures of this carb mounted on the intake manifold and showing how the accelerator linkage is set-up, and especially where the throttle return springs are attached. I don't have a picture for you, but I think this carb is from a early 60's FE engine. The 57 4100 should be a 1.08 not the 1.12, it is a little large for a stock 292, but you should be able to use it.

The "C0" indicates it came on a 1960 or later car, probably a 390 CI based on the 1.12.

The 57 autolite 4100 designation was ECZ and not sure if it even had the venturi size posted on it, I beleive it was even smaller than 1.08, Ted can tell you, he got one from Glenn a couple years ago at Columbus. I just saw one at Carlisle but it was too poor of a core for my purchase.

Billy is correct in that the 1957 ECZ Ford carb (flat top) has smaller venturies than the later model 1.08" carbs.
