so earlier this year i bought a 272, turned out to be locked up, I've stripped it down and had to break one piston out, but that bore still looks clean and undamaged, the odd part is it seems to be a mix of parts.

this is what i found;
BLOCK - ECG-6015-A  Cleveland foundry markings
HEADS - ECZ-G Cleveland foundry markings
CRANK - EC  29(then a big hole) lol
RODS - EBU
PISTONS - ECZ
ROUGH BORE MEASUREMENT - 96.5MM = 3.80" (measured with vernier callipers)
INTAKE - ECG-6065-B Cleveland foundry markings
TIMING COVER - ECZ-G Cleveland foundry markings
ROCKERS - australian passenger side (left side) all ECG-6564 australian drivers side (right side) a mix of EAN-6564-B1, EAN-6564-B2, ED-6564-B2

so im guessing its an australian 272, bored for 312 pistons, and they put the good heads, intake and high ratio rockers on it...???
