Part book says that there is two different seal, one which O.D. is 2 5/8" AD-1190-B only 54 and one with 2 1/2" O.D. A9A-1190-A for 49-54 with replacement hubs. First one looks to be available from Miller Obsolete Parts.

My old NAPA book shows the number to be Victor 49729. A while back someone on another site was looking for a '54 Merc seal, which is the same number. He was having difficulty finding one, I don't know if he did. It is a '54 only number.

The old grease seals should have a number stamped into the side. Any good industrial bearing dealer should be able to cross reference the number and fix you up. The same applies to the bearings and races.

I have a 1954 Ford customline I am looking for the seals for the front wheel bearings. Does anyone know the part number for them over is there a cross over seal that will work. I have it all tore apart and I don't want to leave it while I wait if I order them.
