Can anyone recommend for street machine/daily driver? Trade-offs in drivability/wear? Bolt-in?

Dan,

I have that in my car, Mummert Flywheel, South Bend Clutch Diaphragm and Kevlar disc. I would recommend a non Kevlar, organic disc for the street. I needed the "bite" for the strip. Works real well.

Frank,

Did you use the stock throw-out bearing & hub? I came across this site (see web address below) re: Jeep engine swaps. It suggests converting to diaphragm clutch requires a shorter bearing for proper functioning/longevity. May apply only to Jeep transmissions, but doesn't specify (?).

Nevermind. It IS strictly a Jeep issue, turns out.

I used an aftermarket throwout. did check to make sure the face and the Pressure plate were compatible. They are.
