Thought I'd take a few moments to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Jeremy, i'm 28 years old and live in Waynesboro, PA. I recognize some of the user names here from another site called the HAMB. I purchased the 55 crown vic below this past september, and have been busy tinkering with it since. I removed the fender skirts, Hood ornaments, hubcaps, front bumper guards and also installed an old tube grill. It's powered by a 312 which the last owner had rebuilt.

I pulled the engine last week so I could replace the rear main seal and painted my firewall black since I'd like to have the car totally black one day. I'm also working on installing a dual master cylinder while the engine is out.

The last pic on the bottom is my uncle back in the mid 60's with his 55 crown. It was powered at one time by many engines including a 272, 292, 312, 390, 406, 427, and even a straight 6 at one point. It even had a fiberglass hood and fenders.

I wonder which engine is in that car of your uncles at the time of that photo? Do I see some kind of velocity stacks. I'm thinking Hilborn FI on a 312 - but I can only dream.
