sound like the diamond back is the way to go, but which one the ll on the AS4?

Have Coker Classic wide ww radials with no complaints. They look the closest to bias belts while not being bias belts. Would reccomend.......

I had my local Firestone install my port a walls on my radial tires  a while back.showed them to the guys at the counter... met with puzzled looks.then one of them said, "Hey, check with Blue, he may know what to do"."Blue" was an older black gentleman who took one look and knew exactly what I had... and he installed them.working ever since for me.no much high speed driving, however, so I can't speak to sustained freeway speeds.Mark

I have a set of Firestone Wide Ovals from Coker on my 1974 Galaxie. They are bias ply, of course, as the car came with bias ply as original equipment.

I haven't used them but I planned on going with a reproduction biasply tire with a 2 1/2" white wall.  I might use Coker but I am not sure, who ever I get them from they do have to be Firestone tires as that is what mine most likely came with from the factory just as a black wall though.
