I keep getting error mesage "Access to the path 'd:\hosting\k5jmc\forums\Uploads\Photos\5d35f020-c03d-4779-9527-eba5.jpg' is denied" when trying to upload a .jpg from my PC to my profile - as either a "picture" or "avitar.

file is 85 kb & 800 x 533 - all below the stated maximum sizes

With the change to the new server awhile back, the picture posting ability within the posts and/or threads at the site level was lost.  Using an outside photo hosting site such as PhotoBucket is just one of the options for posting pictures at this point.  Even at that rate, try to maximize photo widths to 600 in order to keep the text margins within the viewable screen.  Smaller than that is even better for those that are on dial up as the pictures will display quicker.  300 widths work out great for most pictures and at 300 wide, pictures can be placed side by side.
