bought 1 threw ebay for a57merc(bufalo tanks ) it is top quality, sending unit fite has a vent tube. i installed it in my 57 ranchero.

I bought a stainless tank from Tomsclassic on Ebay for my '55 Club Sedan. Haven't used it yet but it installed pretty easily. I had to fab my own J bolts.

I need to replace the gas tank on my 1956 Crown Victoria. Anybody have any experience or issues with the stainless steel tanks on ebay or auto city classics? They are listed for $200-225. ebay is free shipping and no tax. Other classic ford vendors are $315? I do not mind spending the extra $115 if the quality of the tank is superior.
