I don't know if I'm any closer or further - but I do have a 2 bbl car manifold which was recently hot tanked with the heat tube. It can go for cost of shipping as well. I'm in Arizona.

'57-60 trucks had a manual choke - no heat riser tube.

Those engines were rated for much less horsepower if that makes a difference.
I have a carburetor adapter for the A type manifold that will allow the use of newer carbs. I got it from another member here and never used it. It yours for the cost of shipping if you want it.  You'll just need to figure out how to mount it.

I believe that the the intake porting sizing is the same for all of the '57-'64 intakes used on y-block equipped FoMoCo cars and trucks.

Check on this, though...  IF the intake manifold is from a y-block heavy duty truck engine application, I THINK the truck intake does not have the choke heat tube running through the underside of it.  Certainly not a big deal.  -You could use a manual choke or an electric choke instead of the hot air activated bi-metallic spring type carburetor choke.

On the intake manifold, look for the choke heat tube hole behind the exhaust crossover port and below the carb mounting surface on the driver's side, and between the 'feet' that are used to clamp the passenger side exhaust crossover port to the cylinder head.  No holes, no choke hot air heat tube.  Smile

I have a chance to buy a manifold for my 292 engine that is out of a 60's 292 truck. Is there any difference in the size of a ECR-E and a ECZ-B? Thank you
