I think it is '02 and up.  This particular suspension can be removed from the car as a unit so the geometry is maintained and is nearly a perfect fit for '61-'64 F100s.  I think '57 -'60 does have the same frame rail width so it should work there.  Research it some more, though.  People who seem to have a stronger engineering background say that the Crown Victoria itself is quite rigid which is important for the survival of that aluminum crossmember.  Your trucks frame will not be rigid.  And, I also know that it is a popular upgrade and there are quite a few trucks running with it - but that doesn't guarantee that it is a good idea.  These trucks are old and even modified versions are not often driven. so it could take years for any issues to become known.
If I ever upgrade my truck to ifs, I will use something that is designed from the ground up for a truck, like the Dakota conversion from Industrial Chassis - you buy the crossmember and get the rest from a donor Dakota.   It doesn't look like they offer anything for '57-'60 yet, though.  Red_John, it looks like they will have a '53-'56 offering that you should check out if you had not already.  Though if you want to get this done soon, it may not be an option.

You will find much more suspension related info on a truck specific site, like Ford Truck Enthusiasts.

I'm going with a No Limit Engineering IFS.  I did a lot of study before I decided to go with this setup.

I've never done a front clip myself, but I've been around a couple my friends have done.

Probably, run a search over at the HAMB, that's more their style. If you don't find a good souce, you start with a tape measure, inside and outside the frame rails. And frame height between the two original vehicles. And desired ride height. Steering can be a real issue using late model stuff with forward mount rack and pinion. While some have successfully narrowed the front crossmember, getting the steering right can be a whole nother problem.

At one point I bought a 46 Doge panel with a Nova front clip. Drove it 200 miles home, hitting the bump stops all the way. By the time we got the right springs, modified the A arms, and fixed the bump steer, we could have paid for a Fatman or similar kit. If you go that route, you'll need the aftermarket parts, not Mustang II components. And don't use coil overs, the travel is too short for the weight and ride height of your truck, even lowered.

That said, I saw a Monte Carlo front clip on the front of a 55 Chrysler 300, with a modern Hemi, that drove like a new car. But it was done by a very experienced pro builder, who'd built hundreds of cars.

I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. I'm assuming you want an improvement in driving.

I'd start with a police car if you can find one. then realize it's going to need most moving parts replaced.
