We have been looking for a 56 Custom Ranch Wagon for a long time. The few that we did find were either junk or way out there on price. We heard about a local car that has been garaged for decades and now the owner has decided to sell due to health reasons. We bought it today. Not only is it a all original, Custom Ranch Wagon, but it is a "P" code car with factory 312 and FordOMatic. Of The owner has the receipts for the motor rebuild that was done a long time ago and will be giving me all that documentation. The car fired-up and sounded great. Of course the tranny is leaking like a sieve, but I'll take care of that. This will be the wife's ride so we'll keep it an automatic which is why I started the thread about the FordOMatic to C4 swap, but now you guys have me thinking more seriously about the AOD.
