Can any one out there tell me what the cam grove depth is for a 312 Y-block, I have been told that aftermarket cams dont cut the grove deep enough, And I have a new build on a 312 with good lower end oil pressure, super clean and no oil going to the heads, Yes I have checked all the normal, rocker holes and head gaskets, It did get oil to the rockers when it was first fired up, now no oil to heads now, bearing did not spin, So all the normal stuff is good, So I,am thinking that the grove in my cam is not deep enough, does any one know the proper depth for the cam grove.
