Chuck,

In case my PM did not get through, thank you for the information.  I could not see where a double roller would be that much louder either.  BTW, the parts are Ford, NOS.

Thanks again,

Bill A

I've never noticed a sound change with the double rollers. Its has a longer service life than stock. I would use it. Whats the brand? If its Rollmaster its a good one. Chuck

Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

I have a new double roller timing chain and sprockets that I'm thinking about installing on my 292.  A friend said it would be noisier than a single roller chain.  Is this true?  Anyone hear about this before?  If so, how much louder?  I believe this was used for trucks.

Thanks,

Bill A
