Gee John, thanks for that info. My Vicky had two wires in the harness going to the Temp sender location. Through trial and error I figured out which one would work my temp gauge. Couldn't find a use for the second one so I cut it off. No problem since I run a mechanical oil pressure gauge. You learn something every day! Chuck in NH

Timmy: You have it right. The wire to the oil sender originally had a bullet connector about where it is probably broken. A white wire plugged into the bullet connector and hooked to the oil pressure sender. That white wire was threaded through the square spark plug insulator. John

Timmy, only one connection on sender is used. The oil sender is down on the left side of block near the oil filter.I dont think the second wire on temp sender is for oil pressure.Mark

A few wires were broken when I got the car so I am trying to figure them out. On the temperature sender that screws in to the head there is 2 connections on it but I believe you only use one so I plugged the shorter wire that has a connection still on it to that and the other wire that is joined with the sender unit is broken and I believe that goes to the oil sender unit
