Good morning,   I'm looking for a way to upgrade a 56 Ford Vic front end for better ride, safety and drivability. This car is in poor but restorable condition with a bad front end cross member. I'm investigating grafting a 90's Crown Vic front end from the cowl forward  onto the 56. These cars are reasonable to find and provide disc brakes, a possible 9" rear end option along with better ride ability. Which model years should I look for? Has anyone made this transition and all the pro's and con's of attempting this? Can anyone direct me to a forum post from the past on this subject. Also is there a commercial product on the market for updating the front suspension? Lots of questions needing answers. Thanks for any opinions, Philip in Ohiohttp://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/15952ccf-4405-46e7-aaf1-f9e8.jpg
