I prefer the rubber valve cover gaskets as they are easily reusable. However all of those at the local parts stores and on Ebay are cork. Anyone have a source for the rubber ones? Thanks, Alan

I also like the rubber gaskets but if you glue the cork gaskets to the valve covers and put a good coat of grease on the head side of the gasket and do not over tighten them you can re use them for a long time. Old trick. also works with other gaskets that you may want to re use.

Dennis Carpenter, I bought a three sets and plan to buy more as they are OEM gaskets with a copyright date of 1966 on the packages. They are a rubber blend I noticed and they work great.
They also aren't that expensive and they when I called them up over it said they had plenty of them.
