Some of the FordOMatic converters bolt together. Would be easy to change the stall speed.

Billy it's really difficult to find flex plates for the welded converters. Find one before having a welded converter modified

Thanks, thats what the guy has that wants up his cam! The next question is I beleive the transmission has ports to tap into for external cooling, would a later model FOM torque converter work without the fins?

Looking for a sorce that might supply a higher stall converter for an FOM, anybody know of any?
