I have a 55 ford fairlane with 272 y block.. my gas tank is rusted so I bought a fuel cell... the end of the fuel line that connects to the tank is a male fitting.. I need a female fitting with a hose end on it... can't seem to find one.. I've looked everywhere... it needs to be half in standard thread... please help me so I can get this thing running from a tank instead of a jug... the front of the fuel line that connects to the fuel pump has the exact same fitting that I'm looking for.. is there anywhere I can get that small hose just so I can get the fitting from it to use on the rear of the car?

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but fuel cells usually have AN fittings.  There are many adapter fittings available to do just about anything you'd want to do with those.  It's probably available from Summit and other places.

Thanks for the reply but I'm looking for a fitting to connect the factory metal fuel line end to a hose to lead up to the fuel cell... it's brass

Jegs has them. I just bought one that is 3/8 line one one end and 3/8 hose barb on the other. Your fuel line may be 5/16 but I'm sure they have it. I also bought a 5/16 to 3/8 in line compression fitting to run new aluminum 3/8 line for my engine swap.

If you can post a picture of fuel cell fitting and the hose fitting perhaps we can help you better.
