Quick question...my current 2 barrell carb needs to be replaced on my f100, but I want to replace it with a 4 barrell. Therefore, I need a 4 barrell intake.

My current plan is to build my 292 for the street use. I have g heads and ram horns sitting on the shelf. I plan on going with Mummert 270 or another mild cam. I currently have the stock 3.89 rear end, but planning on 3.55 posi to attempt to keep the engine in its optimal power range longer which in thinking will be under 3000 - 3500 rpm range.

My decision is between a b intake or Mummert intake. My thinking is that the Mummert intake would hurt the low rpm power. I'm trying to make sure the parts will match well. Is my thinking flawed?Would you guys recommend a b intake for a 292 street build?
