Hello all!I purchased a new trunk lock housing for my 56 Fairlane. While changing the lock cylinder I accidently knocked the spring off that holds the key cover on.Does anyone have a "trick" to putting that little spring back on properly.Tricky little sucker to re-install!Thanks Mark

OK I did figure out a "trick" to use to fix this.Take a mini flat blade screw driver and cut a slot in it to just go over spring wire.Insert spring in housing.Fit screwdriver over spring and turn to tension.Hook spring end in housing and remove screwdiver.Done in 30 seconds.
