As I mentioned in an earlier post, I want to use the original Carb and distributor.
How can I determine what distributor is in there now?

Pull the cap; if the advance springs are on top of the points plate it's Loadomatic distributor. There are other differences but this is the quick and dirty way to see what you have.

You can also use the numbers on the distributor housing and visit John Mummerts Website http://www.ford-y-block.com/ then scroll down to the "Technical" section, then scroll down to "Distributors" and determine what you have.
