Need someone who has one to take a look at it. Put mine back together and think may have the wrong worm gear drive in the wrong location. One moves the seat front to back and one moves it up and down. When I took mine a part the gear drive with the square end on the tube I had tagged as going under the seat. That meant the one with the round tube without the square end went behind the seat to raise an lower it. I double checked the CTCI restoration manual and looked at a high dollar restored car at a local car show and the square end tube was behind the seat with the clear plastic tube that covers it to keep out the dirt so I installed them with the square end one behind the seat to raise and lower it. Works but to me the seat should go back a bit further. Also when raising and lowering the seat the cross bar bends before the relay kicks out. I think they are switched but I would like to be sure before I switch them. The one under the seat is a pain to get to. How are yours set up?
