Trend's might be good but cost over four cam regrouds + few cheaper lifters in here, other side of planet so if pulling engine off and back again dont start to bother me too much, I try to go cheaper way first.

I think dragster got Comp lifters also, huge spring pressures and over three times more power than my engine and got now first cam failure after hundreds of cam rocking quarter mile pulls, problem might not be lifters but me.

But thanks for the advises again. Now I'm a little bit wiser and recognize my faults better.

Be sure to check the tappet stem diameters.  There are lifters out there that do not have adequate oil clearance within their bores.  Any stems measuring greater than 0.4990” on a Y can pose a problem in being too tight within the lifter bores.  If they do not turn freely when at operating temperatures, then lobe/tappet failures will take place.  This is simply one more thing to check when assembling an engine.  "Assume nothing".

When Mummert first wrote about them, sometime back, I went to Trends site & didn't find anything about them either.. Possibly the're a special order item?

They have a part number listed in the price sheet, FYBL, but when put into the search nothing comes up. So I don't know if they no longer make them or if they can be special ordered, maybe a phone call would be better?
