So over on the 57 ford site there is/was a discussion about boring y-blocks. As I understood one response, you can take a 272, simply bore it out to 292 specs and like magic, you have a 292. Is this correct? 272 crank and rods are the same? If this is so, it would be GREAT news for the little 272 blocks laying around EVERYWHERE!! Doesn't sound right, but what do I know......
