Assuming the vacuum motor is good, they will work fine off manifold vacuum at idle or cruise. Uphill, they stop till you let off. The search function here will bring up some post about rehabbing the vacuum motors with oil or ATF or whatever. Back in the day my wipers didn’t work that well even with the right fuel pump.

Thanks for info. Could you put stock fuel pump in along with the electric pump? Maybe leaveing the electric pump off? If so would you split the gas line?

YEs i use 1 to prime the carb after long shut downs, put it close to the tank,it works as a check valve when not turned on. i use a starter button so it is not on only for emergency. RE the wiper issue install a vacuum tank (small 1 with proper check valve that way even on a long hill should keep wiper going

As far as a an electric fuel pump in conjunction with a mechanical, makes sure the electric is a flow through so there is no problem using the mechanical only.
You are going to try to use a wiper motor that is of dubious value. If you have the cash, I would convert to an electrical wiper motor, assuming you are 12 volt
