D in Vin a 312 or 292?

Supercharged Group: Forum Members Last Active: Last Year Posts: 1.3K, Visits: 9.2K	The D in 1957 = 312 C = 292 A = 272 The main caps on a 312 have ECZ stamped on them. The only way I can see where measuring would work would be to measure the bore= 3.80 and stroke= 3.44 for a 312. The 292 would be 3.75 bore and 3.30 for the stroke. You would need to remove the heads in order to check bore and stroke. -Gary Burnette-
