Apache: No, T-Bird and passenger mounts are nowhere near the same. I bought my mounts at the local auto parts store. John

Mac's has them, but like John said, try NAPA or whatever local parts store you have. They may not have them in stock, but might be able to get them from there whse.

You have to be careful buying mounts that are not in their original box. 6 cylinder mounts look the same as V8, and the bolt holes fit, but they shift the engine forward or back (sorry, old-timers disease, can't remember which way) and cause clearance problems. John in Selma, IN

Two questions. Does the U on the V8 motor mount face front or back? (I know this but CRS got it). I've noticed a slight offset in changing the direction. Also, how much does the engine move back/forward with the 6cyl mounts? I'm putting in an AOD and need to make new tranny mount and driveshaft anyway. Would like to more the engine back a few inches if possible. The adapter gives me 2"-3" to play with and the AOD is shorter than the FOM. Chuck in NH
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
