LOL... replaced the condenser and points, i've now basically replace the whole ignition system, and wa-laa...she's up and running...BUT NOW I'M HAVING BACKFIRING PROBLEMS :-(.. Gonna check and hopefully it's just a wire mismatched somewhere...

ANYONE have a visual of how the ford's are set up..

are the cylinders like 1234-5678, meaning one side is 1-4 and one 5-8.. or is it sequentially left to right 1357-2468?

Cylinder numbering is 1-4 on the passenger side, with #1 at the front, and 5-8 on the drivers side, with #5 at the front.
