I also bought one of these about 2 years ago and have been VERY VERY happy with it. I had trouble getting the original starter in and out because of the lack of space. This one slipped right in and cranks nice and fast. They were also very nice and answered all my questions about wiring etc. Great customer service.

Try this site for your starter - spendy but reportedly very reliable. www.autoelec.com/html/ford_y_block_gear_reduction_st.html
