Great article, has info on trans adapters, performance parts, some destributors, etc. Also states that Mummert is working on aluminum heads for y-blocks(kool,can't wait!). Same mag. farther back has a killer '57 Del Rio wagon running a early Hemi motor! Seen this wagon up close and personal and it's every bit as nice as pictures in article if not more so! Sure wish they'd do an article on John Mummert and his stroker motors (HP/Torque) for street, street/strip, and race versions some time insted of history lessons though! Kid

Article was pretty well written (for a change). Maybe we should get the author to Columbus! I'm sure the performance would make a lasting impression and maybe kick off another article on modern FAST Y's. Chuck in NH
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
