Just reading through Dec 05 Street Rodder Magazine and came across the coverage of the 36th Street Rod Nationals. Pro's Pick out of 11,333 registered Rods was none other than one of America's top artists, Thom Taylor (no relationto Tim)? Thom happens to own a 1939 Ford Standard Coupe powered by a 312 Y Block from a 57 Ford. It runs a 3x2 manifold with an injection setup under the carbs (probably Moon). Good to see the judges recogize a REAL motor when they see one. I wonder how many SCRUB motors were hiding under retro "Rocket" valve covers??? All we need now is for Thom to send in his profile to the best website on the net.
