A friend gave me a brand new carpet set from a 1955 Convertible. Will it fit my Customline 2-Door Coupe? If you look at carpet vendors part numbers.....the convertible and coupe have a different part number. Just laying it in.....looks like it will be about 6" short on the sides that meet under the sill plate. No problem...I can cut and fit some carpet from under the front seat to fit that area. My concern....will the front fit the hump and toe boards like in a coupe. How about the back hump and floors? Are they the same? I believe it is 6" short on the back carpet sides is because the back seat in a convertible must be closer to the front seat than the coupe to accommodate the convertible top well. AM I RIGHT?????
