Most of the T bird vendors sell a very nice little puller that is essentially piece of bar stock with a 1/2 or 5/8" piece of fine all-thread through it.  I think Casco makes it and it sells for under $30.  The bar is latches into the square holes in the pully and the all thread presses on the center bolt and Viola! the pully comes right off.
