Finally got them installed (need to get some wing nuts). Here they are in their full glory, before I scratch them all up installing the engine...

Here’s another pair of valve covers from NewZealand.  These have had additionalbreathers added.  These also have the ‘BC’casting identifier on their bottom sides.

What's currently on the car, and a little mancave / garage art.

I've had this pair for a while. So, I'm finally getting around to refinishing them. Need another y-block to put them on though!
I don't see the old curved script style around too much.

- 1958 MERCURY SUPER MARAUDER 3X2 400HP -

http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/9acff35f-6f57-49e2-9c35-e531.png

These rocker covers were an option in addition to the carb setup.

LINC offered a intake/carb kit in 1958 with a different ACL style.

The LINC (and 59/60 J-BIRD) rocker covers were plain stamped metal resembling the early FE baldies. Chromed was available.

MERC had the M stamped in the sheet metal cover. EDSEL had the E-475 raised letters.

Here is (was?) a source for repro (LINC - MERC (M) - PLAIN) CAST AUM -

Buzz,
I had trouble also.  Click on insert, you will then see a row options to the right. Click on the on the one symbol for pictures,
it’s to the left the video. That will give you a window to choose your photos. Click on the photo, it will show you how many pixels, click on that and choose a reduced size, and use.  That should do it.
