The timing pointer I mentioned probably came from a 1960 car which I pulled the motor on way back.

With my old eyes I'd like to have a complete pointer like the picture. Looking at the bolt pattern I don't think this will bolt on a Y-Block. Might be SB Ford? Chuck in NH

My engine has a multiple pointer, but it doesnt look anything like the one in the pic, having only one right angle instead of the three shown.  It has 4 points for 0,3,6 and 10 degrees.  The damper also has factory timing marks up to 10 degrees, so, if I dont get mixed up the advance vs. rpm can be figured up to 20 degrees.  No idea where exactly it came from.

I think my truck had that kind of pointer when I got it. I don't remember so many points, though. Now the truck was an I6 off of the assembly line so I have no clue where the engine came from. It had C0AE heads and the large base 2bbl manifold so it may have been out of something late '59 to '64.
