Great to see you finally found the car you were looking for.   I searched for ten years until I found my first custom sedan in '94.  It was red and white just like the one in the original 57 custom series brochure that I bought at a swap meet when I was 14.  I wanted that red and white custom bad and finally got it and a nice one to boot.  Unfortunitly it was destoyed by head on with a drunk driver in '95.  I survived with a few scars but my dream car ruined.

Soon after, a friend gave me a lead on another red and white custom 45 miles away.  That ended up being the black car which I have now. After checking the codes it ended up being an original black 312 car so that is way I decided to put it back.  Ive been enjoying it for the last 13 years and love it.  I continue to have a great time with it and hope I never have to let it get away.

I stil have the wrecked red and white car and have collected every part to build it again, but I am having to much fun with the black car.  Maybe someday...  At least I still have been able to hold on to it.

Good luck on your sedan and I hope it comes out the way you want and you get a ton of pleasure from it like I do mine.

It will be worth the wait when you start driving and working on it.

i saw that car at the swap me and my dad was looking at it did it have all the windows and things with it car is clean and will make a nice one ...my car club was the host for the carshow in c-bus nice pics and good luck with the 57

thanks for the compliments the car actually came with 2 sets of side glass  but none of them are what i deem as usable (except for patterns maybe )  as far as the window trim and stuff no it didnt have any (like he said it did)  i also got no rear window and the windshield was broke almost in half (but i noticed that at the swap)

youve heard the old saying looks can be decieving...WELL... they are , the work on the car leaves something to be desired  but im still very happy i got it  and if i had to buy it again tomorrow i would   

the columbus show seems to be getting bigger  i was disappointed that none of the repo parts guys that were there last showed up this year  but the car show was deffinatly better
