Anyone know the diameter measurement of the hole that the transmission bearing retainer slides into on the Y block bellhousing? I know I asked before but I am not sure how to search. I am pretty sure I have a car bellhousing, but if anyone has the measurement for the car and the truck, it might be helpful.
Thanks.

I can’t tell you the hole diameter, but just search eBay for y block bellhousings. The truck version has a large hole and the mounting ears on either side. The car is a pretty standard looking bellhousing. The truck bell is deeper too I think.
In at least some cases later model transmissions can have the front bearing retainer turns down (about 1/4” if memory serves) to fit the y bell, and a couple holes redrilled.
I don’t recall your earlier post about what you’ve got going on.
